David Speaks to 2,000 Fire Chiefs

Last week, over 14,000 of the most prominent fire and emergency service leaders from across North America and around the globe came together for the Fire Rescue International Global Forum for Leadership.

The event was held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. One of the speakers included business trust expert, David Horsager. "It was an honor to be surrounded by some of the bravest men and women in our country. Their service to our community is not only needed but appreciated. I have great respect for those who serve in such a tangible way." Dave shared about the importance of rebuilding community trust.

Interview with First Business on Trust in Government

On Tuesday, August 9, Dave was interviewed on First Business, which is a nation-wide show that broadcasts American business news. Dave was asked to share his expertise on trust in relation to the recent federal budget negotiations. Click on the image below to watch the interview.

Dave recently attended the 2011 National Speakers Association Annual Meeting in Anaheim, California. Here are a few pictures. From left to right and top to bottom, Dave is pictured Harvey Mackay, the legendary motivator Les Brown, Rudy Ruettiger (who the movie "Rudy" was inspired by, former NBA star and ESPN analyst Stephen Bardo, Desi Williamson, and Brian Tracy. This was the start to a busy 2 weeks of speaking on the road, meanwhile the team held down the fort back in Minnesota.

Mark Sheffert's Corner Office

Mark Sheffert, Founder and CEO of Manchester Companies, Inc., is a columnist for the Twin Cities Business Magazine. His column is titled "Corner Office" and this month his topic is trust. The article, titled "The High Cost of Low Trust," explains how focusing on trust is wise business sense. He builds a case for trust by synthesizing the content of Stephen Covey's Speed of Trust and Dave's The Trust Edge. "Nothing generates more profit than the economics of trust," Sheffert writes.
