    Kraus-Anderson Event

    Last month, Dave had the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at the Kraus-Anderson Annual Seminar. With over a century of experience, Kraus-Anderson is consistently recognized by the Engineering News Record as one of the top 50 general contractors in the United States.

    In addition to hearing Dave share his keynote, Kraus-Anderson will utilize Dave for some Trust Edge Follow-Up Programs. These programs are used to gain faster results, deeper relationships, a more committed team, and a stronger bottom-line.

    Famous Dave & David Horsager

    David had the privilege of meeting with Famous Dave this month. They had a great time sharing stories and discussing various business experiences. One thing Dave Horsager noticed is that Famous Dave cares about people especially those who work for him. He puts a high priority on training employees not just to be good at their jobs, but to be good people as well. "Everything you do is about the people," he told Dave. He also shared the importance of hiring based on more than just ability to complete the tasks of the job. At Famous Dave's they hire people with character, passion, a team mentality, social skills, and the ability to be taught.

    Another thing that Dave Horsager noticed was Famous Dave's consistency and attention to detail. Even the songs played at the restaurants were handpicked and organized in a strategic way by Famous Dave himself.  He recognizes the importance of creating an overall experience for the customer. Famous Dave said, "Profit is creating value beyond expectations."

    Mark Leblanc Achievers Conference

    This month, our staff attended the Achievers Conference by Mark LeBlanc. With a combination of lectures, discussions, as well as other exercises, our team was able to brainstorm and refine our mission and vision. Another focus of the conference was the importance of defining a marketing strategy as well as setting benchmarks to maintain accountability. We are excited about the information we learned from the weekend conference and look forward to putting it into practice.

    Videos for The Trust Edge

    This fall, Dave has been working with a videographer to develop short videos to go with each chapter of his book, The Trust Edge. The videos will be used to introduce each chapter for business book clubs. We have uploaded the first video where Dave shares the Clarity Pillar. In it, Dave explains how people trust the clear and mistrust the ambiguous.
